Alice in Wonderland
by Lewis Carroll
Alice in Wonderland follows a curious young girl named Alice who tumbles down a rabbit hole and enters a world where ordinary rules no longer apply. She meets an extraordinary cast of characters, including the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. As Alice moves from one strange encounter to another, language, logic and identity are constantly turned upside down. Conversations become riddles, size changes unexpectedly and familiar ideas take wonderfully absurd forms. Lewis Carroll’s imaginative classic is playful enough for children and clever enough to reward adult readers. Filled with humour, wordplay and unforgettable scenes, Alice in Wonderland has become one of the most enduring works of fantasy literature.
